Is IPSY Really Worth It? – September ’23 Edition

This month I got two boxes – the GlamBag and BoxyCharm by Ipsy.

Glam Bag

The Glam Bag retails for $13 a month and ships out every month with 5 sample size products plus a makeup bag. This month, the makeup bag is super cute and perfect for summer. I will definitely be using it! I’m not a huge fan of sample sizes, but let me go through what I got.

• Benefit The Porefessional Super Setter Spray – I have issues with setting sprays breaking me out so I typically don’t try new ones, but this is amazing!
• Hey Honey Colloidal Gold and Honey Beauty Mask – I will definitely be trying this!
• First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair cream – I LOVE this stuff and this size is perfect for travel! Definitely keeping!
• Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule – I’m going to be passing this along to someone who will use it.
• Kokie Gel Ink Eyeliner – I don’t use eyeliner so I’m going to pass this along to someone who does!

For me, this one was pretty good! I’m not a huge fan of sample sizes but I got a few things to add to my collection. I love when they are brands and products I know of!

BoxyCharm by Ipsy

BoxyCharm by Ipsy retails for $28 and renews monthly with 5 full size products, 3 of which you have the option to personalize.

• Dermalactives Energizing Body Lotion – I can always use another lotion, especially going into the colder months! So I’m definitely keeping this!
• Danessa Myricks Beauty Infinite Chrome Micropencil – I don’t use eyeliner so I’m going to pass on this one.
• Tarte Maneater Mascara – Definitely adding this to my collection! Tarte has some amazing mascaras!
• Keys Comforting Tinted Lip Balm – The color is a little too crazy for me so I’ll be passing it along to someone who will use it!
• Laura Geller Soft satins Eyeshadow Palette – I love adding new palettes to my collection so I’m keeping this too!

This one was great too! Again, I love getting the high end brands that I recognize. I got some great things this month!
