If you’re looking for a fun indoor activity to add to your next Orlando trip, Crayola Experience Orlando is such a colorful way to spend the day—especially when you need a break from the Florida heat or afternoon rain.
Jace and I recently visited Crayola Experience Orlando, and we had the best time exploring all of the hands-on attractions together. There was so much more to do than I expected! From creating our own colorful keepsakes to playing, coloring, and letting our imaginations take over, every area offered something different.
Hands-On Fun for the Whole Family
One of my favorite things about Crayola Experience was how interactive everything was. This wasn’t the kind of place where we simply walked around and looked at exhibits. We were able to participate in the activities, make our own creations, and bring some of them home with us.
Jace loved being able to move from one attraction to the next and try everything for himself. There were opportunities to color, play, create, and see some of the different ways Crayola products are made. We made our way through all of the attractions during our visit, and there was always something new waiting in the next area.
I also loved that the experience encouraged us to slow down and be creative together. It gave Jace the freedom to use his imagination, while I got to enjoy seeing what he came up with. We left with colorful creations, plenty of pictures, and some really special memories from our day.
The Perfect Indoor Activity in Orlando
Orlando has so many incredible outdoor attractions, but the summer weather can be unpredictable. Between the heat and the afternoon rainstorms, it’s always helpful to have an indoor activity planned.
Crayola Experience Orlando is completely indoors, making it a great option when you want to escape the heat, avoid a rainy afternoon, or take a break from the theme parks. It still feels like a full experience rather than simply a backup plan for bad weather.
It’s also a nice change of pace if your Orlando itinerary is already packed with rides and long park days. We were still able to enjoy an exciting day together, but everything felt creative, playful, and easygoing.
Tips for Visiting Crayola Experience Orlando
Give yourself enough time to explore. There are a lot of activities throughout the experience, and younger visitors may want to spend extra time at their favorites.
I also recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that makes it easy to move around and participate in the activities. You’ll definitely want to keep your phone nearby, too, because there are so many colorful photo opportunities throughout the building.
Before leaving, make sure you look through all of the creations you made during the day. Bringing those pieces home made the experience feel even more special and gave us something tangible to remember our visit.
