This month I got all three boxes – the GlamBag, BoxyCharm by Ipsy, and the first Icon Box.
Glam Bag
The Glam Bag retails for $13 a month and ships out every month with 5 sample size products plus a makeup bag. This month, the makeup bag is super cute and perfect for summer. I will definitely be using it! I’m not a huge fan of sample sizes, but let me go through what I got.
- Ciate Velvet Skin Cream Blush in Sassy – This is a great brand but I don’t wear cream blush so I will be passing this on.
- The Beauty Crop Brow Friends Forever – I haven’t heard of this brand but I have been looking for a new brow gel so I will definitely be trying this out!
- Korres Foaming Cream Cleanser – I don’t tend to switch up my skincare too much since my skin is sensitive, so I won’t be using this.
- Kismet Polished Lip Plumping Gloss in Baby – Gorgeous shade but not my thing, I do have a friend who will love this though!
- First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream – This used to be a staple in my routine and will be perfect for my upcoming travels!
For me, this is not worth it. I’m not a huge fan of sample sizes but if you are then this is definitely for you!
BoxyCharm by Ipsy
BoxyCharm by Ipsy retails for $28 and renews monthly with 5 full size products, 3 of which you have the option to personalize.
- BeautyStat Universal C Skin Refiner – This will be great to have as back stock incase I run out of my vitamin C, but I’m unsure if I will actually use it or not.
- Styledry Prep & Prime Polishing Primer – This is a hair product and since I am set with my haircare routine, I will be passing it on.
- Tresluce Beauty Duo Highlighter in Everlasting Paradise – One of these is a cream and the other is powder. I’m not the biggest fan of creams but I may try it and I will definitely try the powder so this is a win!
- Love Craft Beauty Dark Dimension Dual Tip Liquid Liner – I don’t use liquid liner so this is another one I will be passing to a friend.
- Iconic London Beachside Babe Eyeshadow Palette – This palette is gorgeous but again, I don’t use too many eyeshadows and I have a ton of palettes already, so I will be giving this ti someone who can use it.
This one seems to be hit or miss. I do wear makeup pretty often, but some of these products I don’t need extras of. There is only one product that I definitely will be trying out. We’ll see what next month brings!
Icon Box
The Icon Box goes for $58 and renews every quarter, bringing you 8 full size products, and you get to pre-choose 3 of them!
- JLO Beauty That Blockbuster Hydrating Cream – Again, I don’t tend to switch up my skincare, so I’ll be passing this to my mom!
- Anastasia Cream Bronzer in Caramel – I’m not a big cream person, but I have a friend who would love this.
- Anastasia Satin Lipstick In Warm Pach – I love their lipsticks and this color is gorgeous! I’ll definitely be trying this out so it’s a win!
- MAC Magic Extension Mascara – You can never have enough mascaras! This is a win for me too!
- Anastasia Primrose Palette – Again, not a big eyeshadow girl, so I’m not keeping this.
- Alamar 3 piece Brush Set – You can never have too many brushes! Another win!!
- Skininc Body Sculpt Fit Serum – I actually love trying out new body products so I’ll be keeping this!
- Reduit Boost – I honestly didn’t even know what this was, but after some research I learned that it is a skincare device designed to amplify your skincare experience. You can scan the barcode of your products, and the device will use technology to push it’s active ingredients into your skin at the right depth. I’m super excited to try this!
This box is my favorite out of all three. It seems to be worth it for the money! If you like full size products or want the customization option, definitely add on the quarterly Icon Box.
