As fall rolls in and cozy reading weather returns, I’m excited to share my September book round-up! This month, I read 7 books. Here’s a quick breakdown of each book, with my personal ratings and thoughts:
1. Hello, Heartbreaker by Kelsie Hoss
Rating: 5/5
Kicking off my September reads with a bang, Hello, Heartbreaker delivers a swoon-worthy, small-town romance full of charm and chemistry. The characters are endearing, and the emotional tension kept me turning pages late into the night. Hoss has a way of weaving together humor, vulnerability, and passion that makes this one a standout.
2. Hello, Single Dad by Kelsie Hoss
Rating: 5/5
Continuing with the Hello series, Hello, Single Dad brings a heartwarming and captivating story of love and family. I loved the dynamic between the single dad hero and the main character, and the journey they go through is both heart-wrenching and uplifting. It’s a beautifully written romance that’s as heartfelt as it is steamy.
3. Hello, Temptation by Kelsie Hoss
Rating: 5/5
In Hello, Temptation, Hoss expertly blends passion and emotional depth. This installment offers a sizzling slow-burn romance, packed with witty banter and undeniable chemistry. The characters’ internal struggles make the eventual payoff so satisfying. This book easily became one of my favorites from the series.
4. Hello, Billionaire by Kelsie Hoss
Rating: 5/5
Who doesn’t love a billionaire romance? Hello, Billionaire delivers everything you’d expect — opulence, glamour, and an irresistible hero. The story had a fairy-tale-like feel but remained grounded in relatable emotions. It was indulgent, romantic, and a total escape from reality in the best way possible.
5. Hello, Tease by Kelsie Hoss
Rating: 5/5
Hello, Tease is the perfect blend of playful flirting and deep emotional connection. Hoss’ writing shines as she develops two characters who are perfect foils for one another, drawing out both the tension and the humor of their relationship. It’s a lighthearted, flirty read with all the feels and the perfect ending to this fantastic series.
6. Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez
Rating: 5/5
Just for the Summer completely captured my heart. Abby Jimenez delivers a feel-good romance that’s perfect for the season. The story is brimming with humor, sweetness, and that classic ‘will-they-won’t-they’ tension that keeps you hooked. The characters are so easy to love, and the summer romance setting is pure perfection.
7. Daydream by Hannah Grace
Rating: 3/5
Shifting gears with Daydream by Hannah Grace, this book didn’t quite hit the mark for me as much as the others. The premise was intriguing, and there were some truly sweet and heartfelt moments, but the pacing felt uneven, and some of the character development left me wanting more. That being said, it’s still a solid read for fans of contemporary romance who enjoy a lighter, more whimsical tone.
That wraps up my September book round-up! If you’re in the mood for feel-good, swoon-worthy romance, Kelsie Hoss’ Hello series is an absolute must-read. All the books are linked here and be sure to check back next month!
