5 Things I’m Doing Consistently That Have Made the Biggest Difference

I’m a big believer that self-care doesn’t have to be complicated.

Over the years, I’ve tried elaborate routines, complicated wellness trends, and products that promised overnight results. But lately, I’ve found that the biggest difference comes from consistently doing a few simple things every day.

These are the habits that I’m currently treating as non-negotiables. They help me feel healthier, more productive, and more like myself — and honestly, they’re the foundation of my entire self-care routine right now.

1. Keeping My Skincare Routine Simple

For the longest time, I thought I needed a complicated skincare routine with a million products. Recently, I’ve learned that my skin is happiest when I keep things simple and focus on consistency.

This has easily become one of my favorite habits.

Whenever possible, I try to get outside for a walk, soak up some sunshine, and spend time away from screens.

Sometimes I’m listening to a podcast. Other times I’m reading on my Kindle during breaks outside. Adding a weighted vest has also helped me make my walks feel a little more intentional while still keeping them low-impact and enjoyable.

Fresh air, movement, sunshine, and a good book are a combination that’s hard to beat.

It’s one of the simplest ways I reset my mind and recharge throughout the day.
