Family Fun at Jellystone Park™ Kozy Rest: A Rain-or-Shine Adventure

We just got back from the most fun and relaxing family getaway at Jellystone Park™ Kozy Rest, and I couldn’t wait to share all the details with you! If you’re looking for a camping experience that blends the beauty of the outdoors with the comforts of home (and a whole lot of fun for the kids), this spot is a must.

Our Cabin Stay

We stayed in one of the larger cabins, and let me just say — it was perfect for a family trip. The cabin had six beds, a full kitchen, a private bathroom, and a covered porch that made morning coffee feel extra peaceful. It gave us the space we needed to spread out, unwind, and still feel cozy after long days of adventure.

So Much to Do

From the moment we arrived, there was no shortage of things to do. Jace’s absolute favorite? The pool and water playground! He spent hours splashing, sliding, and making new friends while we relaxed in the many shaded seating areas nearby. Even with a little rain during our trip, we made the most of it — the park is just as fun under a cloudy sky.

When we weren’t swimming, we were either at the giant playground (which truly is next-level amazing) or cruising around in our rented golf cart, which quickly became Jace’s other favorite part of the trip. The park is also very walkable, and we loved seeing families riding bikes and scooters along the quiet paths.

Food, Fun, and Convenience

We didn’t have to go far for anything — which is one of my favorite things about Jellystone Park Kozy Rest. There’s a restaurant on-site with plenty of options (perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking), a gift shop with adorable souvenirs, and even a convenience store for anything you may have forgotten at home.

And every single day, there were fun scheduled activities happening for kids of all ages — think crafts, games, character visits, and more. It’s the kind of place where you can unplug as a parent and just enjoy the moment while the kids are happily entertained.

Final Thoughts

This was our first time at Jellystone Park Kozy Rest, and it definitely won’t be our last. Whether you’re camping in a tent, bringing an RV, or opting for a cabin like we did, there’s something here for every type of family. It was the perfect mix of adventure and comfort — and gave us the kind of memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.
