We recently took a trip to Woodloch Resort and we had SO MUCH FUN!!! But you guys know me and of course I still had to sneak in my self care while I was there with my family! Whenever I travel, I always pack everything I need to continue my self care as usual — all my skincare, shower products, books, journal, etc. Even without these things, it is so easy to relax and find time to spend with yourself at this resort. I’m sharing 5 ways you can do some self care while at Woodloch Resort!
*This is a sponsored blog post, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
- Take advantage of the rooms!
The rooms are so luxurious! They are super spacious and homey. We had a one bedroom Edgewater Suite and let me tell you, the view alone made me want to stay in bed all day! We also had a gorgeous balcony with patio chairs overlooking the water, so I sat out there in the morning to journal and read. The beds are the more comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, and the bathrooms are huge with good lighting. I would’ve been happy spending my whole weekend in the suite!
- Enjoy all the food!
There are SO many food options at Woodloch! We did the dining plan and loved it. There are set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we had the same table and waitress all weekend. I loved this because it provided predictability for everyone and our waitress remembered us and what we liked! Each meal was multiple courses with so many options to choose from, so we always left feeling full and ready to continue on our day! Aside from the dining hall, there are so many other options to eat. My favorite was Gigi’s Coffee House, where I got my morning lattes. They also have The North Lodge offering quick bites, The Country Store offering sandwiches, The Pool Bar, and more! You will never be hungry at Woodloch!
- Utilize the hot tubs and sauna while the kids swim!
The pool area was one of our favorites! The kids loved the little splash area and I got to relax in the hot tub with a drink from The Pool Bar. There is a big pool, a few hot tubs, and two different sprinkler rooms for the kids. Plus lots of tables and chairs, beautiful locker rooms and even a sauna! This is a great chance to get away for a few minutes!
- Take walks on the trails!
The resort is HUGE and there are trails all over! I woke up one morning and took a nice walk by the water and it was SO relaxing!! Even if you don’t want to dedicate time to taking a walk, the trails connect all different parts of the resort so even walking to dinner with the view of the water is so calming! If you choose not to walk, they offer a shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes between all the buildings; which was super helpful for when it was dark and the kids were tired.
- Utilize The Lodge at Woodloch Spa!
The Lodge at Woodloch offers facials, massages, body treatments, float therapy, fitness classes and more! They also have a salon where they offer hair and nail services. Whether you just got a quick pedicure or a whole spa package, the Lodge will definitely be a source of relaxation and self care!
We had such an amazing time at Woodloch and I definitely look forward to going back! I am happy to answer any questions you may have while planning your trip to Woodloch so feel free to shoot me a message!
