Is IPSY Really Worth It? – June ’23 Edition

Back again with the June IPSY box! I went over all 3 boxes in my May blog post – this month I got the Glam Bag and BoxyCharm by IPSY.

Glam Bag

The Glam Bag retails for $13 a month and ships out every month with 5 sample size products plus a makeup bag. This month, the makeup bag is super cute and I love how its mesh. I will definitely be using it! I’m not a huge fan of sample sizes, but let me go through what I got.

• Frank Body Rosehip Body Scrub + Cleanser – I’ve actually always wanted to try this brand so I will definitely be putting it to use! It’s a great size for a sample and would be great to travel with.
• Benefit HOOLA Bronzer – I use this and love it! I’m not the biggest fan of this tiny size considering the pan is the size of an eyeshadow, and the regular size packaging is the same size as the sample size packaging. I will be passing this on.
• Reina Rebelde Powder Puff – I’ve never heard of this brand but I’ve also never tried a powder puff so I will be trying this!
• Unfiltered Beauty Co Pout Potion Lip Oil – You can never have too many lip oils! I will definitely be throwing this in my bag!
• NeoGen Dermalogy Real Niacinamide Serum – I’m set on skincare so I will be passing this on as well.

Overall, I’m impressed with this bag. I will be using 3 out of the 5 products and the makeup bag was super cute!!

BoxyCharm by IPSY

BoxyCharm by IPSY retails for $28 and renews monthly with 5 full size products, 3 of which you have the option to personalize.

• Dew of the Gods Watermelon Extract Ultra Tonic – I’m always iffy about fruit face products, so I’ll be passing this on.
• Symbiosis London Cleansing Gel – To be completely honest, this looks boring, and I have a face wash I love, so I’ll be passing this on as well.
• Doll Paint Gel Eyeliner – I don’t wear eyeliner, so I’ll be passing on this one too.
• Il Makiage Eye Color Quad – I love the colors and this small palette is perfect for travel. A win!
• Beau Babe Beauty Bronze Highlighter – I haven’t heard of this brand but the color is gorgeous and fun for summer so I’ll definitely be trying it out!

Overall, I’m not too impressed with this box. I’ll only be keeping 2 of the products.
